Hotel Casa Rustica was established in 2006 as a hotel with many options, all of them to make your stay, pleasant and comfortable.    Ideally located just 1 block west of the central plaza.    This allows you to be close to the most important sites in town and gives you a safe, short walk back home every night.    Everything you need is close by, from restaurants to shopping to historical sites. 

Hotel Casa Rustica offers a quaint Cafe & Bar, along with a Travel Agency, Internet Cafe & Typical Shop.    We offer 14 beautiful and private rooms, 8 rooms with private baths and cable TV & 6 rooms with common baths.   

We also offer a large room for up to 6 friends or family members with a private bath and seperate changing room.    Most rooms have very nice and spacious hand carved wood closets with lockable draws for your valuables.    Each room is nicely decorated with typical Guatemala textiles & pictures. 

You enter Hotel Casa Rustica from the cobblestone street through the grand  & beautifully rustic Antigua style wooden doors into the very spacious entry.   

Just beyond the entrance, is the typical shop, travel agency and Cafe & Bar, where we offer great tasting Guatemalan coffee, drinks & apetizers while watching your favorite news, sports or movies on the large screen plasma TV.   

Here in Cafe Rustica, we offer a continental breakfast to hotel guest for only $1.30 or a more complete breakfast for $3.30.   

Just after the cafe is the billards table, internet cafe and hotel reception area.    We offer free Wi-fi throughout the property.  Internet terminals are Q7/hr.    There is hotel personnel at the property 24hrs, every day.

Just past this is a very beautiful cobblestone garden with a central fountain & beautiful flowers that fill all corners of the garden.  

Surrounding this garden is larger flowers, plants & hammocks for lounging and viewing.   

From this garden, you can go up the spiral staircase to the very large terrace for sunbathing or more lounging.  

From this terrace, you have gorgeous views of Agua volcano to the south & the beautiful fountain below.  

From the other end of the cobblestone garden, you can enter into the common area entertainment room for lounging with a large flat screen cable TV, stereo & games.    All common areas are very spacious and filled with light.

Just past this is the very large common kitchen where you have full use of the kitchen for cooking your own meals.    The kitchen is very nicely equiped with a stainless refrigerator, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, mixer/blender, jucier, bottled water & filtered water, stove top, pots, pans, cutting boards, pasta strainers, plates, bowls, glasses, utensils & anything you would need if you chose to do your own cooking.    After the kitchen is the laundry service area, which we offer to all guest.    Up top is all the rooms.   

Just beyond this 1st house is a beautiful grass garden with a plam tree, flowering trees & shrubs surounded by beautiful flowers.  

In this garden, there is a beautiful stone table with 4 stone benchs for a very tranquil breakfast or resting place.    Also there is an outdoor barbeque for your use at one side of this garden.  

Beyond this garden is the second house that has 5 very nice and peaceful rooms, all with private bath & nice window views of the garden.    In this house, at the top of the 3rd level staircase, there is an amazing view of Agua volcano & cupulas of Antigua.    Hotel Casa Rustica is a very tranquil hotel in the center of the city.
